A few months ago, I had this dream of becoming a published author. I dreamt that my writings would be known and available all around the world. Thanks to Gina Alzate and her team at Global Forum Publishing, that dream has come true today. I am very proud of the book they created with my poems and reflections. The cover page is fantastic; the quality of the edition is wonderful. They are making it available on Print on Demand, as an eBook and it will also be on the bookshelves of many stores around the world ! A Message from Maria Rogato, Author of Night of Wonder
For so many years I have wanted to put my dream for a Christmas story for children of all ages in book form. Being computer challenged, I sent my story to Gina in e-mail form! From that long e-mail, Gina and her crew of angels transformed my dream with their vision, and created a truly beautiful work of art. As I hold it in my hands today, the love that went into its creation is palpable!
I needed illustrations for the book and my inner knowing remembered the talent of my cousin Twiddle (aka: Diane) The miracle of the Christmas season touched both our hearts, and Twiddle reached out to me after many years apart. She accepted my challenge to illustrate the children's book, and presented me with the most innocent and amazing pencil and charcoal drawings.
The "feeling" I was looking for translates onto the pages of the book with such sweet simplicity! Gina took it all and was amazing in producing what we wanted to depict. She worked effortlessly and with a contagious confidence that helped us believe in our dream coming to fruition.

A Message from Diane Pasadino Hickey, the Illustrator of Night of Wonder
This is the first time that the author of Night of Wonder, Maria Passadino Rogato, and I as the illustrator have teamed up to create a children's book. What began as a dream and email was created into a reality. Thanks to the close collaboration of Maria and Gina Alzate of Global Forum Publishing. The result was the creation of a beautiful book, not only in content but also in visual design. Our dream can now be shared with the young at heart throughout the world.
